MSc Student in Digital Civil Engineering Science
Civil Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on construction site experience in Sri Lanka, currently expanding my expertise in digital engineering, BIM technologies, and data-driven approaches at Montanuniversität Leoben, Austria.
I’m a Civil Engineer who has learned the realities of construction by working directly on site. My career began in Sri Lanka, where I spent more than three years managing construction projects, coordinating with architects and engineers, and delivering quality results within strict deadlines and budgets.
Today, the construction industry is changing rapidly, and I want to grow with it. Traditional construction methods are increasingly being combined with Building Information Modeling (BIM), data-driven decision-making, and digital workflows. To prepare for this shift, I am currently pursuing an MSc in Digital Civil Engineering Science at Montanuniversität Leoben.
Through this program, I am strengthening my ability to combine hands-on site experience with modern digital tools and technologies. My aim is to become a professional who bridges traditional construction practices and digital innovation, contributing to projects that are more efficient, sustainable, and informed by data.
